The reason that the product has to be organic is because pesticides accumulate in fat, so you would be ingesting pesticides with the product if it wasn’t organic. The process used to remove pesticides, causes damage to the oil, so you would then be left with a product that didn’t have pesticides, but had damaged oil molecules. Simply easier, and better for you, to start with an organic product.
