Why Can’t I Simply Eat The Seeds That Have These Fats In Them?

You could simply eat the seeds that contain these oils. However, you’d have to eat them in the right ratio, which is possible, although it’s not possible to chew flax seeds adequately, as they have a very hard exterior. So, you’d end up with a really clean bowel, from the flax seeds because they are a great intestinal wall ‘cleaner’, but you wouldn’t get enough of the flax oil to be of real benefit to you.

You’d also have to ensure that all the seeds used (flax, sunflower, evening primrose and coconut) were organic, and stored with great care, so that they have not been damaged by exposure to light, heat, moisture or oxygen. Furthermore, there are other ingredients in the blend we are discussing that make a big difference in terms of the health benefits that the blend offers.

You would also have to consume a lot of the seeds to provide the same amount of the recommended dosage of the oil blend.  This could amount to between 4 and 6 tablespoons of seeds per day.

Most people are so busy these days that they are very happy to have a product that is made with health in mind, which is easy to use, and has great benefits. Eating organic sunflower, sesame and pumpkin seeds, as well as ground up flax seeds, as part of your general diet is great. However, I wouldn’t recommend you rely on them as your sole source of EFA’s.
