When we pack the oil for delivery it has been kept refrigerated at 4 degrees C or 39 degrees F. The company that produces the oil have tested the oil, after using tiny thermometers in the packages, to assess temperature changes. Even after weeks of temperatures over 35 degrees C or 95 degrees F, the oil remains stable as long as it has not been opened. In the heat of summer, as part of their ongoing quality control testing, they sent the oil blend to Arizona, with no degradation in the quality of the oil. However, they still recommend that the oil blend be refrigerated after 6 days at room temperature, or as soon as you receive it. As the average transit time to our customers is between 1 and 3 days, this is well within these limits.
