I’ve been using the oil blend for about 8 months now, after making the switch from flax oil and I’ve been absolutely amazed at the differences I’ve noticed in my health.
The first thing that changed was my skin.
Particularly the skin on my legs and hands used to be thin and papery, and I’d bruise very easily.
It sounds strange to say this, but it now feels much stronger and more resilient, and best of all it feels soft and silky.
I especially noticed the difference with my lips, because they were always cracked and dry, even from childhood.
Now they are soft and I never have a problem – when I notice some dryness on my lips it’s my ‘indictor’ that I haven’t had enough oil for the day.
Even the skin on my neck looks smoother and less wrinkled.
The only way to really explain the difference is that my skin feels moisturized from the inside. It’s made me realize that true health comes from what we put into our bodies. To me it seems that even the most expensive facial moisturizers can’t compete with the oil blend, because there is only so much they can do from the outside in.
To be honest, I never used to go to bed without moisturizer on my face and neck, but now if I forget occasionally, I just roll over, knowing I’ve done the right thing during the day!
Now, as an added bonus, I don’t have to spend money on expensive moisturizers anymore, because the oil blend is the best moisturizer that money can buy!
Now onto my hair. I’d always prided myself on my long thick hair, and after the birth and breastfeeding of my son, it became so thin that I had to get it cut short. In just a few months, my hairdresser couldn’t believe the difference in how quickly it was growing. It’s now strong and growing so quickly, that I’m at the hairdresser way too often, but that’s a price I’m willing to pay because I have my gorgeous long hair back again!
Even my nails have improved – they were really soft and curved, but they’re straight and strong now.
I started the oil blend during a very difficult time in my life, when it would have been very easy for me to slide into depression.
Instead my mood lifted and I felt supported by life.
I found myself feeling calm, happy and at peace. Under the circumstances, that was no mean feat.
And that’s not all.
I’d noticed that my brain used to feel really ‘fuzzy’, like cotton wool, where I literally couldn’t form a proper thought, especially if I was in a stressful situation.
Now I’ve had maybe 2 of those ‘fuzzy’ moments in 8 months – I used to get them all the time!
My hormones also feel more balanced and I feel more alive. I’ve also joined a gym and feel good about getting myself fitter.
All I can say is that this is one thing I won’t allow myself to run out of! (as well as the Beyond Greens.)
My son has been taking the oil and the greens with me, and we add it to our morning smoothies. His constant constipation went away forever after the first week (after taking the oil alone), and has never returned. I find he is happy to drink both the oil and the greens mixed with juice through a straw, or sometimes I put them on his toast under a poached egg. Sometimes with the greens, he even says ‘more mummy’ now that’s a miracle in itself!
I discovered the oil blends ‘sister’ product, Beyond Greens, about 6 months ago.
It’s a green drink and my son and I add this to our smoothie too now. It’s like food ‘insurance’ because I know it’s got so much good stuff in it, that if I miss a meal, I can just make this smoothie and then I know I’m getting everything I need to stay healthy.
It also makes me feel at ease if before my son heads off to a party, I make him a big smoothie and know that he’s full of the right foods.
I think of it as ‘backup’ nutrition for those days when I just don’t have time to prepare every meal they way I’d like to. It sure takes the pressure off!
I feel so blessed to have met Delia and her beautiful family, (whom by the way are the perfect example of glowing health). If I hadn’t met her, I wouldn’t have found out about these truly life changing products.
