Yes, you can freeze the unopened bottles of oil and move a bottle to the fridge when you need a new one. It will take a few hours to defrost – just shake gently before using. As oil molecules (unlike water molecules) contract when they freeze, the bottles won’t explode. And in this way you can extend the shelf-life of the oil for many months, if not years.
